ATTF Maharashtra is the officially recognised state body entrusted by SCBID with conducting selections across a wide range of para sports and identifying talented athletes from every corner of Maharashtra. With a commitment to fairness, accessibility, and sporting excellence, ATTF Maharashtra ensures that deserving para-athletes are given the opportunity to represent the state at national-level competitions organised by the Sports Control Board of India for the Disabled (SCBID) and its Members.
Beyond national representation, ATTF Maharashtra also facilitates the participation of selected athletes in international events sanctioned by World AbilitySport, headquartered in Buckinghamshire, HP21 8PD, UK the global governing body for sports for people living with disabilities.
Through structured programs, trained district representatives, and an unwavering focus on empowerment, ATTF Maharashtra continues to build pathways for athletes with disabilities to excel, compete with dignity, and shine on national and international platforms.
ATTF DIVYANGJAN ACADEMY
ATTF Divyangjan Academy is a dynamic outreach initiative dedicated to discovering and nurturing para sports talent across Maharashtra. Our Academy team travels district-to-district, conducting inclusive Talent Search Para Sports Camps that bring opportunities directly to people living with disabilities especially those in remote and underserved areas. Equipped with our rented but a fully functional Academy Vehicle carrying all essential training gear and sports equipment, our team ensures that every camp is professional, structured, and impactful. Through expert guidance, hands-on coaching, and accessible training setups, the ATTF Divyangjan Academy helps aspiring para-athletes take their first step into the world of sports, opening pathways to state, national, and international competition.
The Academy not only identifies emerging talent but also provides ongoing, sport-specific coaching programs throughout the year. These structured training sessions are conducted at various Government Grounds across multiple districts and their adjoining villages, ensuring accessibility for athletes from all backgrounds. By bringing regular, high-quality coaching directly to local communities, the ATTF Divyangjan Academy creates a continuous pathway for skill development, performance enhancement, and long-term athletic growth for people living with disabilities across Maharashtra.
