Mr. Suhas Shankar More

Mr. Suhas Shankar More, the visionary Founder of ATTF Maharashtra, is an inspiring symbol of courage, determination, and leadership. A double-leg amputee since a tragic road accident on 14 April 2011, where both his legs were crushed below the hip, Mr. More refused to let adversity define his future. With extraordinary resilience, he embraced para sports, rising to compete at the international level and earning recognition from the Government of Maharashtra for his outstanding achievements in Para Athletics. His life journey fuels his mission to empower people living with disabilities across Maharashtra using sports as a pathway to confidence, inclusion, and opportunity, while also championing economic development to help individuals build independent and dignified lives. Through ATTF Maharashtra, he continues to inspire thousands to believe in their potential and strive for a brighter, more inclusive tomorrow.

Driven by an unshakeable commitment to inclusion, Mr. Suhas Shankar More has journeyed across all 36 districts of Maharashtra to connect with some of the state’s most overlooked and marginalised individuals living with disabilities. His on groundwork has sparked a powerful movement establishing para sports camps, empowering local communities, and building a statewide network of 36 District Secretaries who work directly under his guidance. Together, they have reached more than 3,000 people, including those who are blind or visually challenged, physically challenged, individuals with intellectual disabilities, and persons of short stature. With every visit, camp, and initiative, Mr. More transforms isolation into opportunity and restores dignity where it was once denied. His leadership has laid the foundation for a scalable, high-impact model—and with the support of forward-thinking partners, this mission can touch thousands more and create lasting change across Maharashtra.
